Housekeeping

Just reporting a couple of site tweaks; feel free to pay as little attention as you see fit:

• I'm giving Google AdSense another try -- you can see the ads on the right side of most site pages. Over the past several months, I've tried everything from this to Yahoo! Publisher Network to Pheedo, just to see how they work technically and whether they work in terms of subsidizing the costs of this site. We'll see how this go-round turns out.
• I've dropped back from full-text RSS feeds to headlines and summaries. I started spotting my stuff duplicated in enough other places online, without permission, that I lost my taste for full-text feeds. But in the time I had full-text feeds, I can report that it really didn't seem to affect site traffic much one way or the other. So I'm not making this change out of fear of lost traffic, if that's what you were thinking.
• I'm also giving Google Analytics another try. I pulled the tags for it from the site a while back, concerned about performance issues. But I've heard enough reports that Google fixed those problems that I think it's worth another look. I trust you'll let me know if the site drags too much.
