Links in search of better commentary, plus an apology to Peaches and Herb for that headline (except they won't get one because I never liked Reunited anyway):

  • Steve Yelvington points out and explains the new design of BlufftonToday.com, one of the more forward-looking community sites operated by a newspaper company.
  • Upon seeing Steve's post, Kim McDaniel wrote in to the Online-News list to point to the new design for The Salt Lake Tribune's site.
  • Not to be outdone, we Scrippsies just converted our third site to the Ellington content management system, and applied some of our best-tested design patterns to it as well. Meet the new Albuquerque Tribune site. Congratulations and thanks to Paulette Mastio on site in New Mexico; and Amy Lawless, Herb Himes (thankfully not the Herb from Peaches and Herb) and our whole corporate development team in posh suburban Knoxville, Tenn.

It's on the schedule for early 2007.

another great looking site ... when's Ventura going to get the Star treatment?

It's waaaaay overdue ...
